Getting Started
Cloud licensing functionality will automatically be included in any Skyline or Lightning monthly subscription, or annual subscription.
If you are interested in trying Cloud Licensing, please reach out to our sales team to discuss what options are right for you.
1. After installing the version of Lightning that includes Cloud Licensing, the first time that you run ArcMap, the following box will pop up:
2. Select "Cloud", and click Submit. You will then see ArcMap open up. To log in to Cloud Licensing, look in the toolbar where Lightning is typically displayed.
At the far right, there is a small blue "profile" icon.
3. Once you select this, you will be prompted to enter your login information. Remember, this will be the same as your login for Orbital, and if you do not have one, one will have been provided to you.
4. Enter your information and submit. After logging in, you will be prompted to select a license from a list of those which are available for your use.
5. If you select a borrowed license, you must select how many days to borrow it. If you log out with a borrowed license, it will remain borrowed until the time is up.
- If you log out with a regular license, you will need to log in again and re-select it to check it out again.
