Lightning Update Guide

To update Lightning without losing any data, remove the following files from the Lightning folder to a different location on your computer:

• style file
• seed mdb
• mxd templates

After this step, uninstall/reinstall Lightning as normal.

This process will have no effect on the existing projects or project MDB files.

Not all users need to be on the same Build of Lightning to open and adjust a project. New functionality will only be available on the Latest verison. Lightning will always be backwards compatable.
