The Profile is created by sampling point data in the current project database based on the sampling corridor specified in the profile data dialog. Basically it takes the bounding box specified by the sampling corridor and grabs the elevation of points within the corridor and calculates the station along the Alignment to generate a Polyline on the profile grid. The User must verify the Vertical scale prior to building the profile as this is a stored default and will automatically reflect the last used setting
The User will define the Sampling Corridor, the Scale, and other options listed on the Profile Data dialog box.
Layers may be set for Major and Minor grid lines.
The Show First Elevation Values tab displays the elevation value for the first elevation data point.
