      Dash Installation Guide

      Prerequisites

      1. Windows operating system 7 or above.
      2. Requires Microsoft Access database engine. (2010 [32 bit])
      3. Requires BSD License Server running.
      4. Requires SQL Drivers located here (For SQL Server Instance).

      Part 1: Installation                                                                                              

      1. Please remove any existing DASH installations if you wish to perform a clean install.
      2. DASH is a two part installation: The CORE Installer (can not be run without the Version Updater), and the Version (X.X.X.X) Updater that contains the latest build of the software.
      3. Download the DASH Core Installer located here.
      4. Extract the files from the ZIP package and run the Core Installer.
      5. Extract the files from the ZIP package and run the Version X.X.X.X Updater Installer.
      6. Launch DASH
      7. If you are serving your license through FlexNet and the LMTools program
      8. Verify DASH displays the main form with the licensing information at the top of the DASH window . 

      Part 2: Updating

      1. Close DASH.
      2. Download and Unzip the DASH Updater from here . 
      3. Double click the updater to run.
      4. The Bar will fill up green when completed.
      5. Close the Updater and Launch Dash.
      6. The version number will change at the top of the interface to the latest version.
