The Group determines the size and rotation of each Alignment Sheet. Once a Group has been selected, the User can then Customize the Sheets further.
Defining Custom Sheets
The Custom Sheet dialog can be displayed by selecting the Define Custom Sheetbutton from as long as a group has already been selected.
The Edit Sheets tab is located in the Project Utilities under the Insert Templates button in the Sheet Templates tab.If a Group is not selected a dialog box reading ‘A Group Must First be Selected!’ will appear. Click the OK button to go back and select a Group.
Selecting the Define Custom Sheet button will open the Custom Sheets dialog box.
Edit the properties of any of the sheets displayed in the list of sheets.
Modifying the Stations of the Custom Sheets
The stations of the custom sheets should always be modified starting with the lowest stations. The program will automatically modify the beginning station of the next sheet, if the current sheet ending station is modified. This is a safeguard to ensure that no gaps inadvertently appear between sheets.
The User has the option to modify the File Name, Drawing Number, and Vertical Offset per Sheet. The User can also Add Sheets, or Delete Sheets, as needed.
Manually Modifying the Location of the Custom Sheets
The location of the templates may be modified manually by adjusting the size and location using standard AutoCAD editing commands. Select the template by using the Get Locations From DWG button. The location will be extracted and stored in the external project file.
Select multiple Sheets by holding Ctrl and checking the necessary boxes.
NOTE: Once modified, the application will no longer perform automatic checks on match line intersection. This is left up to the User to perform manually.
